An awareness-raising session was held in Medenine Municipality upon the invitation of the National Union of Tunisian Women (UNFT) to participate with women from the host community and female refugees and asylum seekers of Eritrean, Sudanese and Algerian nationalities.

Many topics were discussed such as domestic violence, rights of women, legal assistance, and the procedures to follow to help, support, and assist women if they experienced any form of violence.

It was an opportunity for participants to enhance their integration within the host community and to receive the same services from local authorities.
